Forget the flea’s liver! Tourekiye fame wants two Man Utd first-teamers

Galatasaray want to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Scott McTominay.

TeamTalk UK reported on February 2, “Galatasaray are eyeing the Premier League stars, according to transfer rumors reporter Rudi Galletti. They want to add a right defender and a midfielder. Wan-Bissaka is still at the top of Galatasaray’s list of targets and is looking increasingly likely to leave United.”

Wan-Bissaka joined United in the 2019-20 season from Crystal Palace. He has one of the highest tackle success rates in the Premier League, and the Red Devils signed him for his defensive prowess. In his first season, he made 35 league appearances and was a regular starter. His tackling was still the same, with his ball-winning tackles in one-on-one situations with opposing attackers.

But the limitations were clear. Wan-Bissaka’s weakness was his offensive ability. Not only did he lack overlapping, but his crosses were inaccurate. Still, United saw potential in Wan-Bissaka and gave him plenty of time to develop, but he didn’t improve.

In the meantime, his fellow competitor for the same position, Diogo Dalot, had grown into a formidable force. With the arrival of Eric ten Haag, Dalot was given his chance, and he quickly established himself as a regular in the starting lineup, showing better buildup and overlapping ability than Wan-Bissaka. There is now talk of him succeeding Bruno Fernandes as the next captain.

Wan-Bissaka, who has seen his playing time dwindle, has been 토토 먹튀검증 playing out of position at left fullback this season as United’s left backs have been decimated. If it weren’t for a number of injuries, he would have been completely pushed aside by Dalot and played very little.

“Galatasaray are in contact with Wan-Bissaka’s side, and Wan-Bissaka has been positive about Galatasaray’s project,” the outlet added.

But it doesn’t end there. The outlet added that Galatasaray are also interested in McTominay. The former United youth product has been a specialist joker for the Red Devils this season and has become an integral part of the team, but like Wan-Bissaka, his limitations are clear. His lack of ball control, passing, etc. when he did start was not first-team quality.

In the end, Galatasaray are targeting two United first-team players in Wan-Bissaka and McTominay. It’s unlikely that United will give up two of them. Their depth is too thin. Aside from Dalot and Wan-Bissaka, there is no right fullback, and with Casemiro expected to leave, there is a lack of depth in the midfield.
