Djokovic vs Alcaceras, Wimbledon final ticket prices over $10 million

Ticket prices for the men’s singles final at this year’s Wimbledon tennis tournament between Novak Djokovic (No. 2 Serbia) and Carlos Alcaraz (No. 3 Spain) have reached a fever pitch.

“Tickets have been priced at around A$15,000 ($14,000) since the final matchup between Djokovic and Alcacer was confirmed,” Australian sports media outlet Fox Sports reported on Thursday.

Djokovic and Alcacer will face off for this year’s Wimbledon men’s singles title at 10 p.m. ET on Thursday at the All England Club in London, England.

Djokovic, born in 1987, will attempt to win his 25th major singles title, the most of any player in history, while Alcacer, born in 2003, will try to win the event for the second consecutive year.

The pair met in the Wimbledon final last year, with Alcaraz prevailing 3-2 (1-6 7-6<8-6> 6-1 3-6 6-4).

Djokovic leads the all-time head-to-head with three wins and two losses. Alcaraz is 3-0 all-time in major finals.

“Tickets for the men’s singles final cost as little as 9,000 dollars ($12,000), with the best seats going for as much as 300,000 dollars for two,” Spanish sports outlet As reported. That’s nearly $200 million per ticket.

The list price for center court tickets for the final on the tournament’s official website is £275, or about $500,000 in Korean won.

Meanwhile, the men’s singles final will be presented by Britain’s Crown Princess Kate Middleton, who is battling cancer.

This is the second time the royal, who revealed her cancer battle in March this year, will be making a public appearance since her father-in-law, King Charles III, celebrated his birthday in June.

Her husband, Prince William, will travel to the Euro 2024 final between England and Spain in Berlin, Germany, later in the day. 토토사이트
