Women’s professional volleyball team Pepper Savings Bank announced today that it has signed free agent outside hitter Lee Yerim (26).
Lee, who played for Korea Expressway Corporation last season, was declared a free agent by the Korea Volleyball Organization 스포츠토토사이트 on Friday.
Selected by Hyundai E&C with the third overall pick in the second round of the 2015-2016 rookie draft, Lee briefly left the professional ranks to play for unemployment teams Daegu City Hall and Suwon City Hall before returning to the professional ranks in 2021 in a Roadworks uniform.
“I will be a player who leads the team with a new mindset and makes efforts,” Lee said, “and I am grateful to continue my career with Pepper Savings Bank.”
“We signed Lee to strengthen our defense and player base for the upcoming season,” said Jang Ji-yeon, head coach of Pepper Savings Bank. “We hope that Lee will continue to show what he did last season.”
Lee scored a career-high 103 points in the 2023-2024 season.
