Kiwoom Heroes are on a roll early in the season. They’ve erased any doubters and are shaking up the standings with a seven-game winning streak.
Kiwoom won their home game against the Hanwha Eagles in the 2024 Shinhan Sol Bank KBO League at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on July 7, 4-3 in an extra-inning thriller that went into the 11th inning.
After dropping four straight games to open the season, Kiwoom picked up its first win with an 8-3 victory over the LG Twins on March 30 before dropping six games in a row. They then went on a seven-game winning streak, including a three-game weekend sweep of the Hanwha Eagles.
