The South Korea Under-18 Baseball Team fell to arch-rivals Japan in the Super Round of the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) World Youth Baseball Championship 2023.
Korea, led by Lee Young-bok, fell to Japan 1-7 in the Super Round on Sunday (July 7) in Taipei, Taiwan.

A physical disadvantage proved costly. Before the game against Japan, South Korea played the final game of Group A against Puerto Rico. The game against Puerto Rico was scheduled for June 6, but was postponed twice due to rain before being declared suspended and resumed in the third inning.
