Last place with 6 over par and 76 strokes in the first round of the Jeddah Tournament
Anthony Kim
Anthony Kim, who returned to the field after 12 years, had a disappointing comeback at the LIV Golf Tournament.
Anthony Kim participated in the third tournament of the LIV season held at the Royal Green Golf and Country Club (par 70) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on the 1st. He was placed in the same group as Graeme McDowell (Northern Ireland) and Cameron Smith (Australia) and played the 18th hole. I hit my tee shot at (par 5).
It was the moment he returned to the field almost 12 years after withdrawing from the Wells Fargo Championship on the PGA Tour in May 2012.
However, he made a bogey on this hole and had difficulty landing the ball on the fairway or green on the following holes.
When I hit my second shot at the 5th hole (par 4), I lost a stroke as I hit a shank (the ball hitting the hosel area that connects the club face and shaft of a golf club), which is rare among professional players.
Anthony Kim caught a valuable birdie in the 6th hole (par 4), but fell apart with three consecutive bogeys from the 7th to the 9th hole.
In the end, Anthony Kim shot 6-over-par 76 with 1 birdie and 7 bogeys in the first round of his return, falling to last place among 54 players.
Adrian Meronk (Poland), who joined LIV this season, and Jon Lam (Spain), ranked 3rd in the world, tied for the lead with 8 under par 62 strokes. 온라인섯다
